This past summer, I completed an internship at AFCO, a company in Anderson, SC. AFCO, Associated Fuel Pump Systems Corporation, is a joint venture between Denso, a Japanese company, and Bosch, a German company. AFCO manufactures approximately 30% of the fuel pump systems used in cars manufactured within the United States. I spent 7 weeks in the HR Department, assisting with various tasks such as creation of the company newsletter and maintaining employee records. The document below is an essay written in Japanese as part of the graduation requirements for those majoring in Language and International Trade.
